Context-Aware Business Process Management

Abstract Context awareness is essential for successful business process management (BPM). So far, research has covered relevant BPM context factors and context-aware design, but little known about how to assess select methods in a manner. As are involved all stages of the lifecycle, it key apply appropriate efficiently use organizational resources. Following design science paradigm, study at hand addresses this gap by developing evaluating Context-Aware Method Assessment Selection (CAMAS) Method. This method assists engineers assessing which contexts their can be applied users selecting given contexts. The findings call more stronger focus on explorative BPM. They also provide insights into status quo existing methods.
